About the project
The SUPPORT-HH project focuses on developing innovative decision support tools for effective management of Home Hospitalization (HH) services. By leveraging Operations Research (OR) and Management Science (MS) methodologies to improve planning, it will enable a future with scalable, equitable, and efficient healthcare at home.
The project addresses HH planning decisions at the three management levels
Strategic
Demand forecasting and capacity planning
Tactical
Staff shift design
Operational
Routing and scheduling patient visits
All decision support tools will be developed in collaboration with our partner institutions, validated using real Home Hospitalization patient data, and designed to be generic and scalable.
